EDUCATION ENRICHMENT FOUNDATION RECEIVES CONTRIBUTION FROM COUNTYBANK
FOUNDATION
Greenwood, SC
- Countybank continues to give strong support to the Greenwood community
by contributing to the Education Enrichment Foundation through the Countybank
Foundation.
"Contributions
enable the Foundation to support and promote enrichment for excellence
in education for Greenwood County public schools", said Sandra
Hawkins, Executive Director for the Education Enrichment Foundation.
"The Board of Directors would like to express their appreciation
to Countybank and all individuals, companies, organizations and Foundations
that have financially supported our efforts this year."
The Education Enrichment
Foundation is an organization that upholds and improves the quality
of public education in Greenwood, Ware Shoals, and Ninety Six school
districts. The support of the community's contributions enables public
schools to increase goal achievement using programs not fundable through
school budgets. In the Spotlight, The Great Idea Grants program, The
Academic Challenge Bowl, and the Artist in the Residency are a few of
the programs sponsored by the Foundation. If you would like more information
about EEF please call 864-942-0674.
Countybank began
its service to the Greenwood community in 1933, when it was founded
by a group of Greenwood businessmen. Today, Countybank is a full service,
integrated financial services provider with three full-service locations
and five automatic teller machines. In addition to a full array of traditional
banking products, Countybank is composed of separate divisions that
are positioned to meet specialized financial needs, including Countybank
Trust Services, Countybank Mortgage Services, Countybanc Investments,
Inc., and Countybanc Insurance, Inc. Each division is staffed by the
area's most sought-after professionals in their respective fields to
provide customers with the tools to achieve their financial goals.
